Disguised Stun Guns For Self Defence
These days, we must all consider purchasing and using various self-defense weapons, such as personal alarms, pepper spray, and tasers. Some even consider carrying guns and knives for protection. However, one of the other options is typically better, as they do not cause lasting injury to others or yourself. But now, you will find many disguised weapons on the market, such as disguised stun guns.
The newest disguise for a stun gun is a stun gun that looks just like a cell phone. These types of stun guns are typically more expensive than other types of stun guns, and many people wonder about their effectiveness.
It isn't that they don't work when they are needed - they do work, with the same effect as any other stun gun would have. The controversy lies in the fact that the presence of a stun gun may prevent an attack altogether; but if it is disguised as something harmless, such as a cell phone, an attack that might not have happened may very well take place.
Police officers around the country have found that people really do fear stun guns, also known as tasers. In fact, they have even found that in many instances, a taser is more effective in subduing a suspect than a gun is, without even being used. Being shot with a taser is very painful but the effects are not permanent, which means that a police officer or a private citizen is more willing to use it. They can subdue a suspect or put an end to an attack without dealing with any moral issues in their minds, because they know that there won't be any long-term injury.
There are two main rules when it comes to self defense. The first is to do all that you can to avoid becoming a victim in the first place. The second is to get away from the attacker at the first possible opportunity. The presence of a stun gun undisguised aids in the first rule, while the use of a stun gun aids in the second.
